We are a small farm outside of Northfield, MN, we produce heritage poultry and cornish meat broilers. We named our farm after one of the various common names given to sunflowers in Spanish. Our family's origins are Guatemalan and U.S. Amy Haslett-Marroquin was born in Springfield, MA and grew up in Marshalltown, IA. Reginaldo Haslett-Marroquin is from Guatemala, we moved to Minneapolis in 1992 after meeting and marrying in Guatemala, and to Northfield in the fall of 2006, our three children are William, Nicktae and Lars.
Our MissionTo run a profitable small farm in a sustainable and responsible manner in relation to the social, economic and environmental aspects of our community while cooperating with other farmers to build a strong local food production and consumption system.
